Order Import Limitation for US Etsy Sellers – Action Required

We wanted to notify you of an important update regarding the order import process for US Etsy sellers who installed the app after October 22nd, 2024.

Order Import Limitation: For orders synced from Etsy to Shopify, the shipping address will not be

automatically imported. As a result, if you installed the app after the specified date, you will need to manually update the shipping address for these orders in your Shopify store.

Why This Is Happening: This limitation is due to a decision by Etsy to block the export of shipping addresses for US-based sellers. Unfortunately, this affects the automatic syncing of shipping information to Shopify.

What Is Being Synced: While the shipping address will not be included, all other key order details will sync as usual:

• Customer email

• Customer name

• Order amount

• Tax

• Product listings

• Personalization

• Gift messages

• And more!
